The 31st of October is on the calendar, which means it’s time for another Release Note! This month brought a wave of meaningful updates, improvements, and new features aimed at enhancing stability and elevating the user experience across our platform.

We’ve also added new articles to Corefy Docs to help you make the most of these enhancements. Take a moment to explore what’s new and have a spooktacular Halloween! 🎃

New Features

Merchant Portal scope

◦ Checkout Integration

  1. Integration settings let you generate Integration keys for Merchant Checkouts.
  2. After Payment options enable configuring the Checkout return settings after payment by setting the Bypass status page, the No auto return setting, or the Auto-return delay option.
  3. Security options define ways to set up security settings for Checkout by allowing iFraming and an IP whitelist.
  4. Administration settings at Checkout are focused on managing Checkout status, including disabling, enabling, archiving, and retrieving additional information such as ID or history changes.

◦ Checkout Branding

  1. Styling management defines how to change Checkout styles, improve Brand colour, and upload Images.
  2. Critical settings provide primary options to roll back changes at Checkout to the previous Version or reset them to the default state.

◦ Checkout Layout

  1. Header feature supports Header management settings to allow you limit Languages, manage Merchant icon, Hide if embedded.
  2. Fields option enables displaying Customer fields at Checkout based on your needs.
  3. Methods option can be used to to manage Methods settings of the Checkout layout.
  4. Footer settings allow you to show or hide the Trusted info label at Checkout.
  5. Critical settings include the possibility to roll back changes for Layoutoptions of Checkout, or reset them to default.

◦ Checkout preview

The Checkout preview is a simple yet practical functionality built for you to review all changes realised at Checkout in preview.

◦ Payment methods management

The Payment methods management options help you manage available Payment methods, view Live/Test methods, and turn them on or off.

◦ User preferences

User options enable updating Profile and Dashboard preferences to improve Language and Timezone, Numbers formatter, Date formatter, or displayed items per page.

◦ Members list

The Members list functionality can be used explicitly to get a Members list of your Organisation.

◦ Members management

The Members management options allows you to manage Members of a given Organisation by disabling or enabling Members, resending Invites, setting Passwords or turning off 2FA.

◦ 2FA + Validation

The 2FA feature allows you to set up 2FA and make an Organisation protected for all its Members. The Member can enter the 2FA code or the Recovery code when logging in to the account.

◦ Verification link expired

The Verification link functionality allows you to resend a Verify link if the confirmation link for sign-up has expired.

◦ Invitation for another email

The Invites functionality notifies a Member when the registration with the active section on another account is confirmed.

◦ Account security

The Account security feature allows a Merchant who is an Organisation owner to set 2FA as mandatory for all Members within a given Organisation.

Other features

◦ Hosted fields of Merchant account

The Hosted fields is an option to place Payment fields on the Merchant account page without requiring PCI DSS certification. Using this approach allows you to transmit card data to the processing securely.

◦ Management Payouts in Merchant account

The Payouts management in the Merchant account Scheme settings enables configuring the availability for using Payouts for a given Merchant.

◦ Routes configuration of Payout method

The configuration of Routes allows you to set up Routes for a selected Payout method, turn on/off the Payout route, view Route details, and view aggregated fields, currencies, and features after Route activation.

Major Improvements

◦ The Field code attribute for Fields settings

The Field code attribute is now displayed in the Field settings of the Payment method scheme.

◦ Supporting Diacritics for Checkout

The Checkout fields, such as Cardholder name, First name, Last name and other inputs, now support diacritical marks of any language.

New Features

◦ Merchant portal set of features

  1. The Permissions on the Merchant account show the interdependence with the MP initial Permissions.
  2. The Merchant roles list on the Merchant account overviews all the Roles that influence this MA.
  3. The Domains list & overview is a new tab that enables adding and managing your Domains.
  4. The Members invites functionality allows you to invite up to 5 new Members to the MP Merchant account within one request.

◦ Apple Pay method for Checkout at Test Connector

The Apple Pay method enables Customers using Apple devices to complete purchases quickly and securely with Face ID, Touch ID, or their device passcode.

Major Improvements

◦ MP Roles placement → changed

The improved Roles list hierarchy is the following: Owner, Administrator, Manager, Developer and Viewer.

◦ MP Roles description → truncated

The description of each Role is presented in the corresponding blocks. Some phrases are now truncated preserving the text consistency.

August is coming to an end, which means it is time to read our monthly updates. This release introduces a set of enhancements and features designed to improve stability, usability, and overall performance of the platform.

New Features

◦ Disable option for Fields settings

The Disable option is added to the Fields settings to allow you to hide the Optional field from the Payment method contract. To be more concise, it disables the Optional field and hides it from Checkout or the API contract.

◦ Apple Pay method for Checkout

Apple Pay is a secure Payment method that allows Customers to complete purchases using their Apple devices.

◦ Merchant portal set of features

  1. The Access roles tab in the Merchant portal includes the options to manage the Roles, enable and disable them when needed.
  2. The Permissions tab allows you to set the scope of Permissions and adjust them to particular business cases.

Major Improvements

◦ Empty state for Refunds in Transactions

The Empty state for the Refunds tab on the Transactions page is updated and includes a Create Refund button that initiates creating a new Refund.

◦ Data truncated in Payment Request, Commit, Transaction and Refunds

The data, which is specified on the levels of PR, PC, PT and Refunds, is now truncated for better usability purposes.

◦ Not found state for Payment Request, Commit, Transaction and Refunds

Not found state on the levels of PR, PC, PT and Refunds is updated in terms of design.

First 3 Months of a Newborn

Though it entered the world as an MVP, our product was never truly minimal. Three months may seem like a short period, but it is more than enough for the evolving product to expand its capabilities. In this article, we are excited to share the new features, enhancements, and possibilities our “kiddo” has gained along the way.

Major Improvements

◦ Payment Card → Card

The naming for the Payment Card methods at Checkout was altered and simplified to Card. Thus, if a Method is Card, it is now specified in the Method type name.

◦ The Select options for Date/Time and Country

If the Date/Time or Country fields are switched on in the Fields settings, they should be displayed with Select options at Checkout. If the Country is enabled, the Customer can choose the needed option from the list without entering data manually. If Date/Time is enabled, the Customer can choose the needed state from a datepicker.

◦ Regex for Static fields on Route Configuration

The system validates the user-entered value against all regular expressions of the field. If at least one of these regular expressions fails validation, the system should highlight the field.

New Features

◦ Hide Auto-filled fields

The option is designed to remove visibility at Checkout for the Fields that are provided via API. Thus, those Fields that are pre-filled are not displayed for the Customers. To learn more, go to the Manage Customer fields guide.

◦ Merchant portal set of features

  1. Add-on overview page represents the overview page of the Merchant portal, including its Description, Features, Pricing, Supported languages, and Screenshots.
  2. Install page serves as a modal that allows you to install the Merchant portal add-on.
  3. Management page offers add-on management possibilities, including an Enable/Disable switch.

◦ Verify Strategy for Payment Commit

The strategy presupposes a successful completion of a technical payment (without a financial transaction or a transaction for the technical amount specified in the Payment Request) for Payment account verification.

◦ Express methods: Apple Pay & Google Pay

The functionality allows enabling Express methods in the Checkout settings so that Customers can use Apple Pay or Google Pay.

Major Improvements

◦ Update of Payment Request Events on Webhooks

The Event payment.request_overpaid was added on Webhooks. To learn more, go to the Manage Events guide.

◦ List of Payment Commits & Transactions

The management options for Payment Commits and Transactions are consolidated on a single data grid.

◦ Logs

The functionality represents detailed records of all actions and events related to a Payment Transaction. To learn more, go to the Logs guide.

◦ Firewall rules on the Provider account level

The feature allows to track and manage the Firewall rules on the Provider level.

◦ Email: New user session detected

The system sends an email to the user inbox when the new session is initiated.

◦ Amount limits for Editable amount & Insufficient funds

The limits for both flows are displayed fixedly and highlighted with validation red text.

◦ Merchant portal set of features

  1. Welcome modal is a pop-up window that appears when a Merchant portal is created, configured and ready to use.
  2. General settings include Portal info, connected Merchant accounts and the Administration settings.
  3. Versions allow users to update MP settings and save them as a new Version, or switch back to the old Version if needed.
  4. Public info allows users to configure the name and public description of the Merchant dashboard.
  5. Styling is a specific block on the Customisation tab that includes editing options for Favicon, Icon, Logo, Brand colour, Brand text colour, Neutral colour, Black colour, and Border radius.
  6. Preferences is a block on the Customisation tab that allows users to update languages that Members can use on the Merchant dashboard.
  7. External links block allows users to manage external links of the Merchant portal dashboard and set up Privacy ULR, Terms of Conditions URL, and Documentation URL for the Merchants.
  8. Critical settings block enables resetting changes within the current Version or resetting changes to the default MP settings.
  9. Onboarding management allows for control over registration on the Merchant portal dashboard.
  10. Security options include updating the session time for Merchant members and setting up reCAPTCHA for the Login/Registration form.

◦ Font option for Default Checkout theme

The functionality allows to select a specific Font for Checkout from the provided options in the list.

Major Improvements

◦ Moderate ON/OFF button on PR/PC/PT → hidden

The Moderate ON/OFF button is hidden from the header in Payment Request, Payment Commit, and Payment Transaction.

◦ Non-functional changes for Manual payments

The display of some elements on the Manual Payment Request form in the first Payment Request block was changed.

  1. Choosing a Merchant account is now the first option.
  2. If there are no Merchants in the Organisation with Enabled status, the system displays an alert.
  3. After selecting a Merchant, the Live/Test Payment Request type is to be selected.
  4. If the Merchant has Live/Test payments (Scheme page) disabled, the buttons are inactive.
  5. If the Merchant does not have a Checkout in the Enabled status, the system displays an alert.
  6. After selecting Checkout on the form, if the Editable amount feature is activated, the system displays an alert above the amount entry field called Pre-filled amount.
  7. If the Merchant has Currencies deactivated globally (from the Payment scheme), the system displays an alert.
  8. If the Merchant does not have any activated Currency, the system displays an alert.
