Manage Payments

What is the Payment management?

Payments management defines the flow for working with payments and tracking all related operations. Our system enables seamless monitoring, ensuring transparency, accuracy, and control over the entire payment process.

In that respect, we single out payment operation tracking on three levels: Payment Request, Payment Commit, and Payment Transaction.

1. Manage Payment Requests

Payment Request is is the initial step in the payment process that includes all the necessary details required to process the payment and signifies the payment initiation. We provide different options and a rich interface to help you manage your Payment Requests. In the flow below, you can look at various options for tracking the data and corresponding details.

  1. Navigate to the Transactions tab and choose Payments or Payouts in the top left corner of the page to single out the specific scope of Payment Requests.
  2. Then, you can establish the particular View to make the needed details visible and at hand. To learn how to set it up, go to the Views & Toolbar guide.
  3. You can switch between the Live and Test Requests using the segmented toggle switch accordingly.

  4. Click the Details tab and review the data allocated based on the categories.

2. Manage Payment Commits

Payment Commit is the operation that reflects the Customer’s payment action and contains the Method itself and the Method fields selected by the Customer. This step ensures the payment is confirmed and the funds are allocated. One Payment Request might have more than one Commits depending on the particular situation and payment peculiarities.

3. Manage Payment Transactions

Transaction is an entity reflected by a payment on the Provider side. The main task of payment is to control the payment process: the sequence of payment commands on the Provider, status transitions, and processing amounts.

To cut it short, the Transaction is the final state of the payment process, capturing the data flow and completing the payment lifecycle.
