Create Manual Payout Request

Manual Payout Request is a procedure that stands for a Payout initiation from the Dashboard. It includes several steps to take before the Payout can be further processed.

In this article you can review each step when following the Payout Request functionality. We advise you to try making a Payout Request in the test environment first to ensure everything works as intended.

Required steps

  1. Go to Transactions > Payouts and click Create New request.
  2. Choose the Test or Live Request type depending on the environment you use to initiate a payment. Remember that the test run is safe, and no real money is transferred.
  3. Choose a Merchant account you want to use when creating a Payout Request.
  4. Specify the Customer who is going to be involved in a Payout procedure and become a Recipient of funds. The possible options are the following:
Option Description
Select existing If you have already created one, you can add an existing Customer to the Request.
  • The system shows the Customer details card.
  • After applying a Payout method, the system adds a list of Payment accounts of your specific Customer. Thus, you can select a particular account or create a new one by clicking the respective options.
  • If you select an existing Payment account, the system fills in data into fields automatically.
  • If you create a new Payment account, the system adds the inline fields for you to fill in.
Create from fields Create a new Customer if necessary by clicking Create from fields.
  • Enter the relevant data and metadata into the fields. You can also enter the Manual Origin Reference ID for your Customer.
No Customer After selecting this option, the system allows you to proceed a Payout without creating a Customer entry.
  1. Select the Payout method you want to use for a Payout.
  2. Insert the Amount that is going to be charged and the Currency. The Currency list is based on the currencies used for a Payment scheme.
  3. Click Start processing.

Optional data

Details

The Details section includes the specific information regarding a Payout Request that can be used for technical purposes.

Option Description
Description The option covers the detailed information about a Payout and what it refers to.
Origin Reference ID The option determines an Order ID on the Merchant side.
Custom Origin reference ID The option stands for a unique Payout ID that is created automatically. If you want to specify your own value, enter it into the respective filed.

Flow options

The Flow options block allows you to specify the ways in which the Payout procedure should be functioning.

Option Description
Split mode The option splits one Payout into several smaller Commits.
Allow partially The option allows you to divide one Payout into separate ones if the full amount cannot be processed.
Transaction limit The option enables setting a maximum number of transaction attempts for a specific Payout.

Metadata

Metadata is the additional information that provides the valuable details on the created Payout Request.

  • To add Metadata, enter the Key and the Value in the corresponding fields.
  • To add another Key and Value, click Add a new key.
