Customers
Make Customers your top priority.
Introduction to Customers
Customers are among the key participants in the payment process. They hold the power to make or discard the payment if they find it irrelevant and out of place. Thus, every Merchant should carefully examine the Customers' needs and prepare the most convenient payment flow to lead the transactions to their finalisation stage. The Customer also decides which Payment methods to use and what currency to select at Checkout for the payment closing. You can also refer to the term Cardholder as its meaning is quite similar to the Customer.
Our system provides you with the functionality so that you can efficiently cooperate with your Customers, store the needed data and enhance their purchasing experience. It is an unbreakable law that such smooth cooperation and process will eventually lead to higher conversion rates.
With all that said, take some time to evaluate our system functional load that is at hand and review the corresponding guides.
Customers functional possibilities
→ Merchant can:
We allow you to add your Customers to our system and track all the related actions and processes. You can create a Customer via the Dashboard or directly through the API, depending on your business case and needs.
Managing Customer operations becomes easier as you decide what fields to add and what data to store. Feel free to alter the number of context fields by prioritising the most critical data requirements or adding additional fields if necessary.
Besides the context fields functionality, you can add the Metadata. It differs from the prior fields as the Metadata presupposes adding the Key and the Value. You can add multiple Keys accordingly. Thus, the data that you opt to store is secured, and access to such data is limited.
Moreover, you can add your Customer IDs to specific Lists to analyse and compare the stored data accordingly or reuse the IDs in a Routing or Trigger scheme.
→ Customer can:
The Customer dictates the payment closing status by deciding whether to proceed with that or discard the payment process. It is crucial to make favourable conditions to make the purchasing experience user-friendly. The Customer chooses their input at the Payment Commit step at Checkout and directly interacts with the system. Thus, we allow you to tailor the Checkout and adjust it to your Customers' preferences.
The Customer should be able to choose different Payment methods and juggle them if they want to. Such a possibility gives your Customers more flexibility and makes their experience more accessible, effortless and trouble-free. As a result, you can get higher conversion rates and more satisfied Customers in the long run.
Additionally, the Customer is able to save the most convenient Payment methods and have them at their disposal at any time. It significantly decreases the time of the Payment Commit as the system literally leads the Customer on a well-known path.
You can allow your Customers to edit the Payment amount if needed. It is useful in terms of managing the account balance and adding or splitting the appropriate amount when it becomes indispensable. Also, such a feature comes in handy when the Customer’s first payment is declined due to the discrepancy between the payment amount and balance funds. When such a case happens, the Customer needs to edit the original amount to a smaller one.
