Edit Default settings
You can view and edit the system-predetermined Default settings, which can affect the setup of your Organisation.
Change the Default Payment strategy
While creating the Organisation, you primarily opted for a particular Payment strategy, which affects the system's functional load. To update the strategy, go to Administration settings and choose the Preferences tab.
| Payment strategy | Description |
| Conversion | Focuses on optimising the conversion rates and enhancing user satisfaction. |
| Diversification | Focuses on managing and switching between multiple Payment methods, emphasising advanced security. |
Manage Currencies
Base currencies are the primary currencies you choose when you create the Organisation to use for merchant billing and payment processing. You can add or remove a specific currency by clicking Manage Currencies. You can also choose or remove the preferred currency in a combo box.
Auto disable new Methods
This default setting defines whether the new Methods connected to the Payment scheme will be marked as enabled in the system.
When you see the Currently disable status, it means that the system represents new Methods as Enabled. And vice versa, when you click Enable, all the Methods become Disabled.
Default Payment and Payout schemes
These Payment and Payout schemes have been previously configured. Merchants can use such schemes automatically when they register in our system.
1. Default Payment scheme
This Payment scheme is automatically launched when you create the Organisation. It serves to store and edit the Payment methods after you connect your first Provider account. You can also change the scheme Name and Description or find the corresponding technical information, such as various IDs. To learn how to view and manage Scheme settings, go to the Payment scheme guide.
2. Default FX scheme
This Scheme is primarily used for the Payment schemes processing and exchange operations. It includes the Rules built on the Base currencies you choose when creating the Organisation. If you need a detailed guide on how to add new Rules, go to the Create FX rule guides.
